Osceola is located in south central Iowa, 42 miles south of Des Moines on Interstate 35, accessed by the Highway 34 exit.

Osceola is known for the best July 4th celebration in southern Iowa, a 2-3 day long celebration with a carnival, entertainment, and a parade.

During the spring and summer, you can cruise aboard the USS Osceola and enjoy great views of West Lake and the habitat that survives along its banks.
