- Award-winning daily newspaper in southwest Iowa has an opening for a sports reporter. Although this is a five-day-a-week afternoon newspaper, evening and weekend work is required.
- This is an opportunity for a reporter to cover local high school and community college sports, enterprise and feature stories, with some photography and video.
- We are looking for a good writer who is self-motivated, creative and organized, to work with a bright, energetic editorial team. The coverage area includes five counties in southwest Iowa with the office based in Creston.
- The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Mac computers, PhotoShop software and AP and news writing styles. This person must be able to communicate well with sources, work well under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
