INTERACTIVE PRODUCTION MANAGER

Location: Crystal Lake, IL

Shaw Suburban Media is seeking a manager of production for its nationally recognized suite of websites. This position will work with online associates in advertising, niche products and editorial to develop, implement and launch new web products as well as to manage the day-to-day relationships between Shaw Suburban Media sites and the web vendors that serve our many platforms. This position requires a hands-on approach and a get-it-done mindset. Problem solving skills are a must as the effective day-to-day operation as many of our company's web offerings rely on the ability of this position to understand, and identify technical issues and to implement working solutions.

Key duties include:

• Serve as primary technical contact for SSM's Yahoo relationship, including management of APT ad serving platform, inventory oversight and traffic.
• Day-to-day oversight, troubleshooting and implementation of multiple web products as well as the maintenance of technical relationships with the vendors who serve these platforms.
• Weekly reporting of web analytics for all Shaw Suburban Media sites.
• Management of online advertising inventory and ad serving platform as well as direct supervision of advertising traffic coordinator position.
• Work with company leadership and outside vendors to successfully implement new web products/features/services.
• Develop and maintain a productive relationship with IT team to ensure technology and connectivity issues are solved in a timely and productive manner.
• Create and manage Flash advertising campaigns including page peels, interstitials and mouse-over advertising.

• Excel/Word/Power Point
• Text editing and file manipulation in .jpg, .pdf and .gif

The Interactive Production Manager position reports to the Vice President of Advertising for Shaw Suburban Media and will work out of our Crystal Lake, IL facility. Light travel between locations (St. Charles, DeKalb and Grayslake) is expected from time to time. This position is eligible to participate in the Shaw Suburban Media benefits plan.
